The Nike Vapormax 360 Is Arriving Soon In The “History Of Air” Colorway

Beaverton is no stranger to executing archival digging to help inspire their newer generations of footwear, and this year Nike is aiming to honor their innovative Air Max lineage by calling back to one of their silhouettes from the early ’00s, the Air Max 360. It’s initial 2006 debut was preceded by the introduction of the Swoosh’s “History of Air” Pack that featured a collection of retro releases of the original colorways of classic Air Max models such as the AM 1, AM 90, and AM 93, etc. So for 2020, the Swoosh has decided to nod to this part of brand history by bringing back its introductory makeover, and altering its tooling with a modernized cushioning unit for a brand new silhouette entitled the Air Vapormax 360. Its “HOA”-inspired color scheme is brought into play thanks to its classic white/red combination, which is also updated with a Swoosh logo that is coated with an iridescent finish. Down below, a full Vapormax layer supports its upper base layers, and arrives in completely transparent fashion – a slight deviation from its throwback style whose Air bubble featured a more milky aesthetic. Grab a detailed look here ahead, and find these dropping on Nike.com and at select retailers on January 30th for $225.
