Nike LeBron 23 “From This Point Forward” References His Iconic SI Cover

A clever flip on James' positional versatility.

Nike LeBron 23 “From This Point Forward” References His Iconic SI Cover

It’s a story that’s been told before, but you honestly can’t overstate the level of expectations that accompanied LeBron as he entered the league. ESPN broadcasts of his Saint Vincent–Saint Mary games as a senior, editorials about his status as the savior of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and, famously, a Sports Illustrated cover that proclaimed him the “Chosen 1.”

As the LeBron 23 marches on in recalling some of the more totemic moments in James’ journey, the Nike LeBron 23 reaches back to that pop culture moment with the “From This Point Forward” colorway. Coated in Fighting Irish hues with a “White/Stadium Green/Light Smoke Grey/Black” arrangement, the shoe’s link to the man himself comes at the heel, replicating the back tattoo that a young King got shortly after the American institution featured him.

As all of the LeBron 23 pairs have to date, the “From This Point Forward” comes with a graphic tee to match, depicting the nascent talent within his L23 logo. Additionally, the tour-date-style rundown of each juncture the silhouette references now chalks off its first entry; “2.18.02 in Akron” references the publish date of the now-legendary magazine.

Expect the Nike LeBron 23 “From This Point Forward” as a part of the silhouette’s ongoing Holiday ’25/Spring ’26 rollout. The usual $210 retail price is expected for the shoe, $50 for the shirt.
