Arriving in peak 2000’s fashion, the Yung-1 takes us on a journey to the early 2000s with its chunky yet edgy look. Again we are reminded that history repeats itself, especially in the fashion industry as today’s trendiest looks have all been seen before. With the return of the trends, brands like adidas have revisited older silhouettes, brought them out of the retirement and added a new contemporary look/feel to the sneaker. This Yung-1 is a perfect example of just that.
The upper calls upon mesh that has added overlays to bring texture and contrast to the silhouette. This edition arrives with a “Crystal White” look as the mesh takes on white while overlays see a different shade of off-white that adds a great look to the sneaker. A high tongue with a black embroidered trefoil logo and a sculpted two-toned midsole complete the retro design and feel.
