NFL star Jalen Hurts is once again making headlines for his Air Jordan cleats. This time, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is not being fined by the league.
Hurts led the Eagles to a 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night during the Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs. On foot, the quarterback — who passed for 131 yards on 13-of-21 attempts and two touchdowns — wore custom Air Jordan 11 cleats dressed in Eagles colors.
The look, which was designed by customizer Sean Vergara, features the team’s midnight green hue on much of the upper. Vergara also added white on the model’s signature mudguard, as well as on the cleats and the laces.
With the win, Hurts and the Eagles have moved on to the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. The game will take place Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. ET and air live via NBC/Peacock. Philadelphia will face the winner of Monday night’s matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams.
This is the latest cleat-related headline for Hurts, but it’s not the only one he’s made recently. With the NFL regular season winding down, the quarterback wore mismatched Air Jordan 11 cleats against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 15, 2024, a decision that reportedly led to a $5,628 fine for violating the NFL’s uniform and equipment rules. After reports of the fine surfaced, Jordan Brand — which has backed Hurts since August 2023 — confirmed it would pay the fine.
