Palace Skateboards And adidas Bring Back The Camton Trainer This Friday

Palace Skateboards And adidas Bring Back The Camton Trainer This Friday

Highly regarded British skate brand and longtime adidas collaborator Palace is somewhat of an enigma. They’re known for bucking convention, staying true to their British roots while still constantly evolving, and cranking out clever designs season after season. In short, Palace simply refuses to be pigeonholed into just skatewear, a mindset that continues with their collaborations. They’ve worked with adidas on a tennis-focused collection that debuted on-court at Wimbledon — a feat that many would think impossible due to the strict rules and regulations of tennis. They’ve got an upcoming capsule collection with legendary Americana brand Ralph Lauren that has the world of street culture buzzing. And they’ve got a fresh adidas collaboration that blends casual and skate style on the way as well, as they’ve joined forces with the Trefoil Brand once again for a silhouette titled the Camton Trainer.

Arriving in both black/white and white/black, the shoes boast a shape that’s similar to the classic adidas Superstar, but with a few noticeable tweaks. A large mudugard rises high up onto the midfoot to provide a little extra protection for skating, and the Three Stripes graphic is shortened on the sides. A Palace logo hit adorns the heel, and each shoe is constructed of a supple leather for a premium feel. You can expect these hybrid kicks to release Friday, October 26th at Palace stores and on Palace’s website, with pricing yet to be announced.
