UNDERCOVER x Nike Daybreak Releasing In Navy And Gold

UNDERCOVER x Nike Daybreak Releasing In Navy And Gold

After releasing in two staggered batches this June, the third wave of colorways for UNDERCOVER‘s collaborative Nike Daybreak is set to hit retailers this August, and one member of their ranks is this new navy/gold makeup. Digging deep into the Daybreak’s old-school style, these co-crafted Nike shoes offer a dark navy nylon upper that’s accented with a classic gold leather Swoosh and gold laces. Further detailing arrives via a shaggy black suede heel counter and sail suede overlays on the eyestays/toebox. UNDERCOVER’s signature elongated plastic heel clip — an embellishment that looks somewhat like the gaping jaws of a ferocious shark — is dressed in navy and splattered with white paint speckles, while all-caps text branding appears on the midsole, which itself offers more speckled style. A leather heel tab and liner add just enough premium flair, while a classic waffle outsole that would surely make Bill Bowerman proud finalizes the look. The sun will rise on these fresh Daybreaks on August 1st, and they’ll retail for $160 USD. Want to add a pair to your rotation?
