Detailed Look At The Air Jordan 12 “Reverse Taxi”

Often showing their penchant for remembering the classics, Beaverton strays just a bit away from the tried-and-true path with the introduction of the Air Jordan 12 “Reverse Taxi,” an homage to its reference though with small modifications making quite a sight for sore eyes in 2019. Similar mostly in color blocking, the pair effectively alternates each and every detail of the original with materials being the most overt in their difference: where smooth and pebbled leathers once stole the show, a now textural mix of velvety suedes at the backdrop and seemingly faded nubuck at the forefoot paneling make for a more perfect usage of the black shade. White midsoles, which were once blacked out, follow in the same swapped presentation with gold detailed carbon fiber adding matching notes to the eye stays as well as the type down the tongue. Branded tabs finish off the heel, with a “23” and Jumpman icon in red add signature logo hits with the latter being more active in its simultaneous placement at the tongue and bottom toe. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it rolling out to select retailers as well as Nike.com on November 9th.

Updated October 2nd, 2019: The Air Jordan 12 “Reverse Taxi” will now release on Halloween 10/31.
