No-Comply Rejoins Vans In Celebration Of The Late Daniel Johnston

Radically underrated, the late Daniel Johnston holds esteem as one of the most legendary musicians to walk this Earth, and though he doesn’t often receive the praise he deserves from a public perspective, the singer/songwriter is often considered to be your favorite artist’s favorite artist. Austin-based skate shop No-Comply has, for quite some time now, been well-aware of Johnston’s influence, taking a large role in paying their respects even an entire year prior. Eliciting a Vans collaboration in commemoration yet again, the imprint is set to unveil an entire pack of Waffle-soled staples replete with the artwork seen across the album “Hi, How Are You.” In tandem with the project of the same name, the collection is confirmed to include silhouettes such as the Slip-On Pro, Authentic Pro, and the Old Skool Pro — all sprawled with the pleasantly unrefined style of the muse himself. Grab a close-up look at some of what will be available just below and expect more imagery to arrive closer to the capsule’s projected March release date.
