Home Lakers Themes Adorn The Nike Air Flight Legacy

Amid a slew of Jordan releases for 2020 laden with purple, NIKE, Inc. brings a Los Angeles Lakers-friendly colorway to the Air Flight Legacy.

Equally rooted in the Air Flight 89 and Jordan 4, the Flight Legacy nods to basketball staples from the late ’80s. Constructed from a mix of leather, synthetic leather and textile, “White” uppers on the retro silhouette set the stage for their “University Gold” and “Regency Purple” accents. The former takes over much of the midsole tooling, while also animating branding across the tongue, heel and insole. Similar to a forthcoming LeBron 17 Low, profile Swooshes feature the Lakers’ regal hue. Collar lining and lacing systems follow suit. Down below, Airbags and their accompanying foam forgo any scheme borrowed from the Western Conference franchise, but rear traction underfoot revels in purple.

Take a look at this Flight Legacy here below and head over to Nike.com right now to grab your pair for $90 USD.

In modern-day Nike Basketball news, a first look at the Zoom Freak 2, Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s next signature sneaker, has emerged.
