The Nike Air Max 1 “Evergreen” And “Magma Orange” Releases Tomorrow

The Nike Air Max 1 “Evergreen” And “Magma Orange” Releases Tomorrow

The Nike Air Max 1 turns 33-years-old in 2020 and to celebrate, The Swoosh has prepped it a healthy general and special release roster. And while the latter’s city-specific and DENHAM and CLOT collaborations have been impressive, tomorrow’s “Evergreen” and “Magma Orange” pairs have arguably trumped them among sneaker enthusiasts.

Akin to inaugural pairs of Tinker Hatfield’s design, the duo features a white mesh base overlaid with light grey suede panels. Instead of “University Red”, however, either a vibrant citrus or rich green takes over these Air Maxes’ mudguards, profile Swooshes, branding on the tongue and heel, and upper eye-stays. Underfoot, visible Airbags near the heel – which were originally inspired by Paris’ Centre Pompidou – boast a transparent finish, while their surrounding foam cushioning dons a white arrangement; accompanying greyscale tread indulges in its pair’s titular hue at the forefoot.

Enjoy another look at the “Evergreen” and “Magma Orange” pairs of the Air Max 1 ahead, and find both arriving at select European retailers tomorrow, July 30th.
