The Nike Air Max 2090 Seen With Befitting OG-Style Color-blocking In “Green Abyss”

Released 30 years after the Air Max 90, the Air Max 2090 sports design elements inspired by its predecessors, including the mudguard and cassette. Now, the silhouettes also alludes to the AM90’s signature color-blocking style as it gets splashed with “Green Abyss”.

By pairing the white translucent mesh uppers with a black mudguard and grey rubber details, it compares to the styling demonstrated by OG models such as the beloved Air Max 90 “Infared”. The grayscale colors are interrupted by hits of Green Abyss used to color the side Swoosh outline, heel loop, and Air unit. As for the sole, the pair infuses new Air Max cushioning to bring it into the modern era.

The Air Max 2090 will arrive at Nike.com for $150 within the next few months.

And if you’re interested in Nike’s newer propositions, the Fontanka Edge is releasing a red and white colorway.
