Potentially a result of the North American conglomerate’s “Move to Zero” initiative, the newly-surfaced retro features a natural-dyed canvas upper donning a “Muslin” tone. Overlays around the toe and heel abandon the iconic “elephant” print created by Tinker Hatfield, but they indulge in the sneaker’s signature “Cement Grey” hue; the collar and inner lining follow suit. Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel (sorry, “NIKE AIR” aficionados) deviate from their understated surroundings in a “University Red” makeup, while midsoles opt for a “Sail” composition that ostensibly introduces an “aged” look to the Jordan 3.
