The Nike Calm Mule Slip-On Arrives In Green

The Nike Calm Mule Slip-On Arrives In Green

Nike is set to follow up on the success of the Calm Slide with the Calm Mule, another slip-on model that focuses on comfort.

Reminiscent of the Birkenstock Boston, which has exploded in popularity over the last three years, the multi-piece silhouette keeps things simple. The upper forgoes the soft suede associated with Birkenstock’s proposition in favor of a plastic-like material that maintains its shape. The footbed follows suit, being laden with ridges. A canvas-assisted strap joins the mix at the mid-foot, as does a large window for breathability on the medial side. Swoosh branding is kept minimal on the mule, with miniature swooshes appearing the lateral profile, footbed, and multi-directional outsole.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for firm nike.com launch details.
