Australia’s Hype DC Celebrates 25th Anniversary With New Balance 2002R “Native Dynamics” Collaboration

Australia’s premier sneaker retailer Hype DC is commemorating its silver anniversary with a nod to the bio-diversity of its native continent.

Dubbed the “Native Dynamics”, this New Balance 2002R collaboration ushers in beige as the primary tone, covering the chief overlay with a soft suede. A darker tan shade sits just underneath, with a contrasting sand cream used for the mesh. Touches of pink are used for the quarter and heel underlays, with touches of an oceanic indigo accenting the midsole as well as the heel.

According to these official images revealed by Hype DC, the shoes arrive with two lacing options – the aforementioned below and the sandy cream. Furthermore, Hype DC adds heartfelt touches calling back to its 25th Anniversary to the lace dubrae and the heel.

Hype DC confirms an October 20th, 2023 at 9am local time, which is October 19th 6pm EST. Stay tuned for more official details as well as potential global release information.

In other New Balance news, the Carhartt WIP New Balance 990v6 is officially set for an October 20th arrival.
