Reebok Basketball’s Retro Run Continues With The Answer III “Black/White”

Reebok Basketball is synonymous with the likes of Allen Iverson and Shaquille O’Neal, which explains why they were the perfect duo to take over the category as Vice President and President, respectively. Although neither has been in his role for long, the two former NBA superstars have helped push retro hoops product from their longtime partner, an initiative that’s now reviving the Reebok Answer III.

Often overshadowed by other signature models in Iverson’s line, the Answer III was born in 1999. Its cult-following has long pleaded for a proper bringback of the model, which Reebok is finally answering. Already available in its original “White/Flash Red” color scheme, Iverson’s third Reebok Answer silhouette is set to soon return in its equally classic “Black/White” ensemble. Tumbled leather reprises its role across the quilted-like upper, which features the iconic “I3”-branded jewel at the lateral heel. Underfoot, the 24-year-old design boasts a DMX Foam midsole that promises to deliver plush comfort with every step.

Enjoy a closer look at the pair ahead. A stateside reebok.com launch date hasn’t been disclosed by the brand as of this writing, but that may change soon. The “Black/White” Answer III is now available overseas.
