Fresh gear for the new season to come.

The Nike SB Ishod 2 Blows Up In “Bubblegum” Pink

Spring is here and skateparks are about to become packed with folks looking to put new hardware to the test. In lockstep with the footwear sensibilities of the upcoming season, Nike SB touches down with a pastel pink colorway of its latest signature silhouette; the Nike SB Ishod 2.

Pink suede overlays carry the design, and they’re brightened up further by blue stitch in a subtle yet impactful design choice. The rest of the upper and midsole provide a clean backdrop in white, while a black Nike Swoosh and outsole add a touch of balance against an otherwise soft palette. The arrival of spring is the most apparent consideration behind this colorway, but longtime skaters and Nike SB heads would be correct to point out the shoe’s fitting “Pink Box” aesthetic. The “Pink Box” era spans parts of 2004 and 2005 and has been regularly used to inform the design of various Nike SB cuts, most notably the Nike SB Dunk Low.

Either way you look at it, Ishod Wair’s next signature look arrives as a welcome, eye-catching addition to the model’s growing selection. No release date has been set, but pairs should be hitting Nike SB retailers within the next few months as the weather begins to warm up. Check in periodically with your local skateshops and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for all the latest updates.

If you’re in need of a seasonal skate shoe refresh but would prefer a more classic silhouette, check out the Nike SB Dunk Mid “Dusty Cactus.”
