LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.01 Flips The “Toxic” Colorway

The new neon-drenched take drops on April 12th.

LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.01 Flips The “Toxic” Colorway

LaMelo Ball’s signature line with PUMA switched up its release strategy last August, announcing the start of a retro program for his first and second shoe just months after his third was unveiled. Just under a year later, that plan is still going strong, with recent editions of the PUMA MB.03 now joined by the new “Inverse Toxic” PUMA MB.01.

The PUMA MB.03 “Toxic,” released in October, quickly become one of the more iconic editions in the young history of his product line. Thus, it makes sense to start the new overarching theme by reaching back to his first shoe, literally flipping that design on its head. Slime green dominates the upper, with the overriding purple and pink from the first shoe instead playing an accent role. They paint the crosshatch midsole overlays, the sock liner and laces. While the palette utilized here could never applied in any sort of low-key way, this new take on it is possible more eclectic and in-your-face than the original, a fighting match for Melo’s flashy persona.

The PUMA MB.01 “Inverse Toxic” will release on April 12th, commanding a $140 retail price. Stay locked in our to landing page to stay in the loop on the latest LaMelo Ball shoes.
