The men's re-release is expected for Summer '24.

This Air Jordan 1 Low “Game Royal” From 2013 Is Returning In 2024

With how many new Air Jordan 1s release every week, we wouldn’t fault you if you’ve asked “haven’t I seen these before?” after a couple of them. While high-profile pairs get consistent retros, GR drops are typically siloed to their initial run. Perhaps signalling a shift in release strategy, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Game Royal” brings back a widely available pair from 2013, rehashed and refurbished for a Summer ’24 release.

If fashion operates on a 20 year cycle (see the inescapability of Y2K trends), we’re still a number of years away from the early 2010s style these wear being back in full force. Nonetheless, reprising this edition refracts a lot of the Jordan Brand’s design language from the era into 2024: the contrast Swoosh that wears an embroidered outline, the black tumbled leather overlays and the matte-finished chrome leather underneath. At the time of writing, it’s largely unclear why this, of all pairs, is making a comeback. Yet for those who got into the hobby last decade, it may mean that some formative pairs will be back on the shelves in short order.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Game Royal” will likely drop in the coming weeks- a retail price of $115 is expected. Take a look at some official close-up shots just below.

In more Jordan Release Dates 2024 news, the Air Jordan 1 “Team Red” and Jordan 4 “Hyper Violet” land this weekend.
