Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-Quantum Zientzia Releasing In Black And Gold

The partnership between Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS has unquestionably been one of the most significant drivers of the ongoing “gorpcore” trend. It’s already produced some of the most sought after ASICS in recent memory, and the duo’s showed no signs of slowing down, keeping pace with a steady variety of new styles.

The latest Kiko-stamped delivery visits a model the collaborator actually introduced back in early 2023; the tech-packed ASICS GEL-Quantum Zientzia. We just saw the release of what’s sure to become a prized blue and orange “Knicks” pair, and now we’re learning of a new “Black/Gold” colorway dropping in Summer 2024. It doesn’t feature the same colorful aesthetic seen on many Kiko x ASICS shoes of the past, but marries a familiar color scheme with the brand’s most premium silhouette, producing a clean avant-garde look.

Given the shoe’s sophisticated details and tooling, it commands a steep $290 price tag. No firm release date has been set at the time of this writing, but the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-Quantum Zientzia “Black/Gold” is expected to drop at tail-end of Summer 2024.
