Dropping the... day after Christmas.

The Nike LeBron 22 Wears Mismatched “Christmas” Colors

Long-time ‘heads will remember the heights of Nike’s Christmas basketball collection, minting beloved colorways of their tentpole models that fully embraced the season. With the Kobe 9 “Christmas” bringing that energy back to the forefront, it seems that Swoosh hoops is intent on striking while the iron is hot, as a cadre of commemorative colorways have just emerged, including the Nike LeBron 22 “Christmas.”

The main draw with this release is writ plain from first glance, an alternating color scheme across the left and right shoes. While the use of “Dusty Cactus” teal prevents this from being a one-to-one embrace of seasonal red and green, still the intent is clear, with glossy finishes on the upper of either shoe only furthering the celebratory air at play. The concept is fully finished out in the margins, with the translucent green outsole evoking “Grinch” colorways of old, and velvetine laces delivering a nod to snowy holiday mornings.

The Nike LeBron 22 “Christmas” releases on December 26th, retailing for $180. Catch official images below and use our “Where to Buy” section to grab yours once released.
