This Air Jordan 1 Low Remembers The “New Beginnings” Colorway

Simple color blocking lands on the modern silhouette.

This Air Jordan 1 Low Remembers The “New Beginnings” Colorway

Jordan Brand hopes that the Jordan 1 ’85 Bred can revitalize demand for Jordan 1s across the board, bringing the Jumpman back to the late 2010s/early 2020s when the Peter Moore retro was absolutely flying off shelves. This “Gym Red” low-top is pretty low on the depth chart in terms of significance, behind upcoming “Black Toe” and “UNC” reimaginations to name a couple, but its one of many easy buys you can expect to see at retailers in Spring 2025.

The design is close to 2020’s “Gym Red” Jordan 1 Low, which sold for as much as $250 on resale platforms a few years ago. Some context; that shoe was popular because it took after the “New Beginnings” Jordan 1 ’85 that released that same year.White and “Gym Red” leather wrap the upper of “modern” silhouette here, complete underfoot with a white midsole and red outsole.

The “Gym Red” Jordan 1 Low retails for $115 and will be available via nike.com and retailers during the Spring 2025 shopping season. See official images below and tap our Jordan Release Dates 2025 page for more.
