An ever-reliable partner for New Balance, Aimé Leon Dore has carved out plenty of its modern catalog with the New Balance 860v2, essentially their silhouette de jour post-550. During the Summer season of 2024, the brand tipped off pre-orders for their latest trio of looks on the silhouette, and as that initial window closes, pairs of the Aime Leon Dore New Balance 860v2 are now available for direct order.

Each of the four three on tap attack Y2K aesthetics from a different angle. The white and green likely serves up the most readily recognizable bend, plastering pure white and metallic silver tones that instantly clock the shoe as a “dad shoe” acolyte. Conversely, the blue and red nods to the expressive, vibrant design language of earnest running shoes of the era, tipped off well by the flashes of neon green tonality throughout. Finally, the red and silver is where you’ll catch the most literal interpretation, utilizing an off-white aged midsole with the requisite dose of chrome tonality atop a fiery foundation.
