Air Jordan 9 “Flint Grey” Returning Spring 2026

The first ever retro release for the 2002 colorway.

Air Jordan 9 “Flint Grey” Returning Spring 2026

Following a successful “Cool Grey” Jordan 9 release, the Jumpman will continue remembering the model’s first return to shelves with a “Flint Grey” retro in 2026. The sneaker is part of newly-uncovered wave of 2026 Jordans landing in the January-March window, including the “Reverse Infrared” Jordan 6 and “True Red” Jordan 13 to name a few.

The “Flint Grey” Jordan 9 debuted as new colorway in 2002 and has never seen a subsequent retro. Lending a clear “Flint” Jordan 13 vibe, the sneaker features a “Flint Grey” nubuck mudguard, white leather upper, and “French Blue” accents on the tongue, eyelets, and heel branding. Images of the 2026 retro have yet to appear, but it’s expected to follow the same design formula.

The impending “Flint Grey” 9s continue a strong run of original/2000s-era colorway retros, including “Powder Blue” and “Olive” in 2024 and “Cool Grey” in March of 2025. If the recent “Cool Grey” AJ9 is any indication, its possible if not likely that “Flint Grey” stock will be limited.

As with most 2026 Jordans previewed thus far, the Jordan 9 “Flint Grey” is due out during the Spring 2026 shopping season (meaning any time between January-March). Stick with us for all the latest updates, including official images and full release info.
