Nike continues to preach the gospel of the Mamba Mentality with the expansion of the Kobe Brand, offering high-performance athletic gear and sports-inspired lifestyle goods bearing the Kobe Bryant’s iconic sheath logo. Recently, we saw the release of the first-ever Nike Basketball x Kobe Bryant equipment capsule doused in Dodgers blue; now, the Swoosh’s burgeoning sub-brand is ready to attack the gridiron with a Nike Mamba football jersey.
The Kobe Bryant Nike Mamba football jersey appears in both “Home” black and “Away” white bases with both of the LA star’s retired jersey numbers on display in the iconic Lakers styling. On the front and left sleeve reads 8, the single-digit number that Kobe wore for the first-half of his career, while 24 appears on the back and right sleeve to signify the second half. Above the rear number reads “MAMBA”, while a snakeskin pattern appears on the upper half of the top. Much like the Nike Baseball jerseys that became available earlier this year, the Swoosh has chosen to stick with a simple white and black option for these American football jerseys. Both versions of the jersey are photographed with women models; it is not clear if the jerseys will be available in mens sizing.

In addition to the football jerseys, we’ve uncovered a full collection of apparel pieces in an upcoming Nike Kobe lifestyle capsule. The collection includes men’s button-down shirts, men’s baggy pleated pants, women’s tops, women’s bottoms, and girls athletic sportswear apparel. The full gamut of pieces can be seen just below.

Release date information for this Nike Mamba apparel collection has yet to be revealed; however, it is anticipated that a launch could happen on or around Mamba Day, which falls on April 13th, 2025.
