Updated April 28th, 2025: The adidas Predator Megaride is available now on the Confirmed App for $160. Currently the white/black and blue pair are up for grabs; the third black pair is coming soon.
Simply put, adidas’ football roster has never been more in focus than now. Consider the continuing totemic success of the Samba on one hand, but their current stable of on-pitch performers is equally of import in the Three Stripes’ everlasting “focus on sport.” In between those two endeavors, they’ve also shown a willingness to dip back into the archives, something tipped off towards the end of last year with images surfacing of the adidas Predator Megaride, now further stepping into view with a full slate of colorways and more concrete release info.
For those who aren’t in the know, the Predator Absolute is the reference point with this lifestyle tooling, a 2006 offering that graced the feet of legends in the 2006 World Cup. Though the sole unit shifts away from that performance spike, the deep grooves and anodized finish that defined that shoe are largely left intact. As is the extended tongue, a touch you may have spotted elsewhere on shoes like the Samba LT. The blue metallic colorway on offer, famously associated with David Beckham, is a further embrace of that OG styling, but easily digestible options in black and white buttress that vibrant option.
The adidas Predator Megaride is currently queued up for an April 8th release on European sites, listed with a €180 retail price. A US stateside launch date is unclear, but keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates when it emerges. Otherwise, peruse images of all three launch colorways ahead.
