The Nike Ja 2 “Ja-Breaker” Remembers An Insane Poster Dunk

Ian Eagle gave us one of the greatest dunk calls (see the video below) in recent memory during the 2022 NBA Playoffs. During game five of the Grizzlies vs. Timberwolves first round matchup, Eagle shouted “Ja Breaker” after Morant single-handedly stuffed one in over Malik Beasley; a fitting call for what’s remembered as one of the better dunks of that year.

As Grizzlies fans hope Morant adds to his playoff highlight reel against the Mavericks tonight (he’s currently a game-time decision), the Nike Ja 2 is harkening back to Ian Eagle’s call with a “Ja-Breaker” colorway. Mimicking the look of jawbreaker candy, the entire sneaker comes in white with multicolor specks – save for yellow gradient Swoosh logos.

The Nike Ja 2 “Ja-Breaker” is scheduled to release May 1st, 2025 via nike.com and retailers, priced at $140 in men’s sizes. See official images below if you’re thinking about copping.

Elsewhere on our Sneaker Release Dates calendar, the Nike KD 18 “EYBL” releases April 25th.
