While there’s still plenty of life left in beloved lifestyle editions like the New Balance 1906R and New Balance 990v6, the Boston brand is about to officially usher in the next chapter. Following in the footsteps of both the 990x series and its tech runner icons that spread outside of that range, New Balance has just officially pulled back the curtain on their ABZORB 2010.
Much of what we could glean from advance images remains in this formal reveal, including a focus on the diamond-knit mesh underpinnings and sectioned sole unit, splitting two doses of titular ABZRB cushioning under the heel. Those innovations are met by the branching curvilinear overlays so commonly seen on 99x product. Notably, the price tag for the New Balance 2010 isn’t nearly as prohibitive as initially expected; early reports has the new model tabbed at $200, but in actuality, this initial brown and green edition will only command a $160 sticker price.

After several leaks and early previews, the New Balance ABZORB 2010 will officially release on May 7th, 2025 for $160. Select retailers in Europe have a drop marked for April 30th.
