adidas and Willy Chavarria recently unveiled new pieces from their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, including oversized apparel, accessories, and for our purposes; a lineup of re-imagined footwear. Spotted at the designer’s “América” runway show and Paris Fashion Week, the adidas Jabbar Dress Lo has emerged in fresh black and white colorways launching May 8th.
While Wales Bonner focuses on maximalist materials/patterns, Chavarria’s expertise lies in transforming shape. There’s no better example than the adidas Jabbar Dress Lo; an all-new version of Kareem’s signature model featuring a slew of alterations. We got a clear look at the model during Paris Fashion Week in January, with Chavarria pre-releasing a set of animal print styles. It’s got a pointed toe and new midsole that slims out towards the forefoot, not to mention a lower collar aligned with dress shoe profiles. Additional alterations include waxed laces, a reshaped backtab, and “Willy” text in place of “Jabbar” along the stripes. The black and white colorways below both come decked out in leather, save for suede toe caps.
The Willy Chavarria x adidas Jabbar Dress Lo releases May 8th for $250 via the adidas app; see official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming pairs.
