After reemerging seemingly out of nowhere, the Nike ACG Phassad is continuing to surface in new colorways ahead of its first ever retro run. With an original “Yellow Zest” colorway and essential “Triple Black” look already covered, we’re now unpacking a new “Cave Stone/Aluminum” option expected for Summer/Fall 2025.
Introduced in 2002, the Nike ACG Phassad is best distinguished by its buckled velcro shroud. It’s got a bit of a Nike Presto shape to it, but that’s about as deep as the comparison goes. Durable mesh makes up the quarter and tongue, while textured leather moves in on the toe cap and mudguard. The forefoot and shroud are traditionally cut from smooth synthetic material, and while hardly a focal point, ribbed leather tags appear on the tongue and heel. Underfoot, the hiking model is complete with a large, spaced-out chevron tread pattern.
This “Cave Stone/Aluminum” colorway follows the earthy base + vibrant accent shade design formula, although it’s not quite as lively as 90s-era ACG styles. The “Aluminum” color appears notably on the shroud and lining, while black and “Cave Stone” take over everywhere else.
The Nike ACG Phassad “Cave Stone/Aluminum” doesn’t have a firm release date, but we’re expecting a Summer/Fall 2025 arrival. Budget for a $120 retail price if you’re considering copping a pair.
