With “Laser Orange” and “Bright Citrus” colorways already checked off, the first ever retro run of the Nike Air Max Craze is officially underway. Much like the Craze’s sibling model in the Air Max Sunder, old and new colorways are expected to be bountiful as we get deeper into the sneaker’s return to shelves. This “Midnight Navy” colorway is one to look out for come Fall 2025.
Taken with all OG markings, the nylon upper hosts the main instance of “Midnight Navy.” The shrouded tongue, lining, and zipper cover all appear in black, contrasted by continuous white piping around the top. The TPU heel lift and fabric ankle protection both feature “Wolf Grey,” while the midsole keeps thing simple in all-white. The Air Max Craze was originally touted as a cross-trainer back in 2001, and that DNA is still evident over two decades later. The toe cap and outsole both feature debossed “Cross Training” text, with the latter also calling out the heel lift structure. Like the Sunder, the Air Max Craze is being marketed exclusively in extended women’s sizing.
The Nike Air Max Craze “Midnight Navy/White/Wolf Grey/Black” is expected to release early Fall 2025 via nike.com and retailers, priced at $170. Again, only women’s sizes will be available. See official retailer images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
In other Air Max news, the Air Max 95 “Neon” is releasing again in 2026.
