The Beard Taps His “UNO” Moniker For The adidas Harden Vol. 9

James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers unfortunately fell victim to the Joker and the Denver Nuggets, ending a potential Cinderella run for the Inglewood squad. However, the adidas Harden Vol. 9 lives on in the postseason, notably the on-court choice for two of Oklahoma City’s principal actors in Lu Dort and Jalen Williams. As that spotlight remains, the model is looking even further ahead, thinking about the 2025-26 regular season with an adidas Harden Vol. 9 colorway foregrounding James’ “UNO” motto.

For those not in the know, Harden began using the “UNO” moniker, alternatively used on its own and with the backronym “Under No One,” following his trade to the Philadelphia 76ers. Given Wilt Chamberlain’s illustrious Sixers career removed The Beard’s usual #13, he’s instead stuck with #1 in this latest chapter of his career.

In comparison to previous game-worn fare, the NBA MVP applies the slogan in more understated fashion, splayed over the insole with text similar to a custom chain he sported on his most recent SLAM cover. Aesthetically, this do-up slides in as almost a blend of the “Ice Metallic” and the original “Cyber Metallic,” pinning a teal blue sole underneath a more conservative chrome and black blend.
