No need to reinvent the wheel.

The New Balance 2002R Issues A Classic Black And Grey

Not every pair in the collection has to be a head-turner. For those looking for a new daily driver, New Balance has kept the 2002R stocked with a range of simplistic styles, but none come close in that regard to the “Black/Grey” edition at hand.

Simply put, it’s hard to ever take issue with a greyscale colorway, and the 2002R performs admirably in adapting that classic black/grey/white. In trademark form, it’s multiple shades of grey on display with this pair, bridging the gap between the black suede overlays and white midsole with flares of steely tonality in the mesh base layer, weaving overlays above, and the additional suede anchoring beneath the quarter panel.

Though the New Balance 2002R featured here has already started hitting overseas retail channels, an official release date hasn’t been announced. You can comfortably expect this shoe to hit NB.com and partnering retailers in the coming weeks, retailing for $145.
