Official Retailer Images Of The Nike KD 18 “Slim Reaper” aka “Halloween”

We said it before, and we’ll say it again: Nike Basketball is entering another golden era. The perfect alignment of strong(er) design, bold(er) marketing, and high(er) energy has brought some of that familiar hype around the hoops game, and Nike’s preview of upcoming Fall/Holiday kicks on SNKRS Live was that firm elbow to the sides to get our attention once again.

Among the standouts of that preview with Kevin Durant’s upcoming 2025 Halloween-themed sneaker, the KD 18 “Slim Reaper”. Featuring an all-black upper and a soft green translucent gum bottom, this upcoming holiday take features a creepy hand of a skeleton with each appendage aligned with the four eyelets of the Terra Humara-inspired upper. The same hands repat on the medial side, giving the appearance of the hands of death emerging from the grave.

The best part? The bones and the bottoms are completely glow-in-the-dark, befitting a recurring trend around the end-of-October holiday. We foresee some possible lace-swaps to festive hues like green, orange, or purple, but they look strong with the black-on-black, too.

Currently, a release date is expected for October 21st, 2025 for $170; see the official retailer images just ahead and stay tuned for further updates.

In other KD updates, here’s a first look at the Nike KD 18 “Aunt Pearl”.
