Royal blue accents make a low-key appearance.

Shades Of Grey Wrap Another Tech-Forward Nike Air Max TL 2.5

It’s been about a year since we were reintroduced to the Nike Air Max TL 2.5 — a mid-2000s model that wasn’t exactly beloved in its heyday but fits perfectly within today’s retro runner movement. While we’ve been impressed by some of the colorways that have dropped, the silhouette hasn’t quite caught on the way Nike might’ve hoped, perhaps due in part to its lofty near-$200 price tag.

Still, every model has its fans — and if you’re among them, this upcoming monochrome grey look might be worth your attention. The sneaker gradually shifts from light to dark tones as you move from top to bottom, contrasted only by a black sock liner. The lone pops of color arrive via royal blue Swoosh logos on the toe box and heel.

The Air Max TL 2.5 “Grey/Royal” is set to release Holiday 2025 via Nike and select retailers for $190. See official retailer images below, and head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming Air Max drops.
