Cindy Crawford gave fans on Instagram a “front row view” of her annual family summer getaway and classic shoe style when she shared a photo on Friday.
Basking in comfort, the supermodel was pictured lakeside on a boat wearing a pair of Manitobah Mukluk boots while taking in the rustic views surrounding her home on a private island in Ontario, Canada.
The footwear was a fitting choice — the Canadian brand produces handcrafted shoes made by Aboriginal artisans.
Crawford’s tan Mukluk boots are lined with sheepskin shearling and also feature other fabrications such as leather, custom beading and fur around the pom-poms and throughout the body of the mid-classic silhouette.
“Mukluk” is an Aboriginal word meaning “winter boot,” and the style has been around for thousands of years, according to Manitobah’s website, but the label is keen on promoting the stunner in an updated style.
“Love the old school @manitobah mukluks!” the brand commented on the picture. “We’d love to set you up with some new ones, too!!”
Crawford was joined by her husband, Rande Gerber, and their children, models Kaia and Presley.
The label carries a similar pair that retails for $279.99 online.
