Adidas Originals continues to honor its history by resurrecting some of its classic silhouettes.
Next up is the Adidas Rod Laver — a beloved silhouette named for Australian tennis great Rod Laver that debuted in 1970. Since then, the shoe has enjoyed cult status among sneaker fans, who have patiently awaited the shoe’s return each time the brand has brought it around again.
The original shoe was done in a white and green upper, similar to the original Adidas Stan Smith, which is enjoying huge popularity at the moment. The newest Rod Laver Super Pack is a very close reproduction of the original shoe but features a new soft PU outsole unit designed for more comfortable wear. The pack includes two uppers: knit and woven. The Rod Laver tongue and heel detail remain intact.
The pack drops worldwide on Thursday.
