Kanye West will have many fans of his Yeezy sneakers with Adidas excited with his latest comments.
The rapper and designer went on BBC Radio 1 in London today and mentioned that he would like to make some sneakers with Adidas that are far less expensive than his Yeezy Boost 350 and 750, which have been priced at $200 and $350, respectively.
West told host Annie Mac, “I’m going to Adidas, ‘Adidas, I know you’ve never made a shoe under $50, but we have to make a shoe that costs $30, and it’s going to be coolest shoe of all.'”
West recently took his partnership with Adidas to the next level, signing a deal that will be “a Yeezy-branded entity creating footwear, apparel and accessories for all genders across street and sport.” Perhaps a more affordable pair of Yeezys will be a product of this partnership.
Today, West also dropped his Yeezy Season 2 Crepe Boots in Oil, which are not affiliated with Adidas.
