Last month at a press preview in New York City, Under Armour showcased the 10 colorways of NBA star Stephen Curry’s latest signature shoe, the Curry 3, coming out in 2016. And today, the athletic giant delivered images and release info on the next iteration to drop.
The Under Armour Curry 3 “Grey Matter” arrives Saturday and will retail for $140. The shoe will be available at Under Armour Brand Houses and its retail partners throughout the U.S.
The “Grey Matter” iteration features various tones of gray throughout the shoe, with the darkest tones on the collar, eyelets and laces, and the lightest version of the color saved for the Threadborne material on the upper and on the outsole.
The Curry 3 was officially unveiled on Oct. 21 featuring the brand’s latest Threadborne fabric, which Under Armour developed after examining the weave construction of a paracord from a parachute. The shoe also boasts the brand’s Meta-Wing technology, which lines the heel to support the subtalor joint to assist with balance, pivoting and shock absorption.
Aside from displaying the 10 colorways for 2016 at the October preview, Under Armour confirmed more colorways of the shoe will arrive in 2017, as well as a low-cut iteration of the sneaker.
