Chanel Couture Spring 2016 Collection Runway Shoes
Karl Lagerfeld is elevating the cork wedge to a Chanel-approved level. Models wore sculptural cork wedges in a range of colors and fabrics, with a classic Chanel cap-toe. The shoes were paired with ethereal dresses and shimmering capes.
Mega models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid walked in the show. Their friend Cara Delevingne took in the designs from the front row, where she sat with her dog Leo. Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Kruger and Alice Dellal were also in attendance.
On her Instagram account, Gigi Hadid wrote, “The detail of @chanelofficial couture is genuinely moving. Such a beautiful show to be a part of! Thank you @karllagerfeld and the whole team.”
