Snipes USA Names Martin Badour President

Snipes has a new president to oversee its U.S. business.

The retailer announced Thursday that Martin “Marty” Badour has assumed the Snipes USA president role. Snipes said via statement that Badour will assume the role effective immediately “to set new impulses for the company.” Badour succeeds Jim Bojko, who Snipes confirmed has left the company.

“I am honored to take over as president for Snipes in the United States and carry on the momentum that [Snipes founder and chief executive officer] Sven Voth and Jim Bojko have established globally,” Badour said in a statement. “I look forward to continuing our rapid growth in the US strengthened by the support of our passionate team and The Deichmann Group.”

Badour previously served as the executive vice president of retail at Snipes in the USA, and in his new role, will be responsible for managing Snipes in the U.S.

“Martin is the right person to move forward with the positioning of Snipes in the United States. He has been with us for many years and is familiar with our workforce, the target group and our vision,” Snipes CEO Dennis Schröder said in a statement. “I am very pleased that he is taking on this role and I am convinced that he will excel.”

Snipes announced in January that Voth was stepping down from his role as CEO. At the time of the announcement, Snipes said Voth would remain with the company as founder in a two-year transition before moving into a consultancy role on Jan. 1, 2026. On Thursday, Snipes stated the timeline has been expedited, and that Voth will leave the company on May 31 and become part of its advisory board in June.

There has been lots of movement in the Snipes leadership ranks in 2024. Aside from Badour’s new role and Voth’s departure, Snipes announced the retirement of longtime chief merchandising officer Brian Forde in January. He was succeeded by 30-year sneaker industry veteran Dimitrios “Jimmy” Lessen, who assumed the role as of Feb. 13.
