As it continues to make major moves in New York, The North Face is taking it straight to the streets for a fall/winter ’16 collaboration with New York mainstay Supreme.
Although The North Face and Supreme have a long list of collections under their belts, it’s rare that a collaboration between the outdoor specialist and the streetwear brand features footwear. This season, a hunting-inspired collection offers co-branded apparel from head to toe, including a set of down-insulated booties.
The Supreme x The North Face Nuptse Bootie is a midcut bootie that’s constructed with a water-resistant shell, packed with warm Primaloft Thermoball down insulation, and cushioned with a durable molded midsole. The booties fasten with a toggle, making them an ideal choice whether you’re kicking back by the fire or running errands in less-than-ideal conditions.
The Supreme x The North Face Nuptse Bootie ($128) will be offered in two colorways: an attention-grabbing blaze orange and a more subdued brown leaf camouflage.
In addition to the footwear, the Supreme x The North Face collection includes matching colorways of the Nuptse Jacket ($368) and a Mountain Light Jacket ($338), Nuptse Pants ($218), and bags and accessories. The full range will be available at Supreme’s New York, Los Angeles, London, and Paris locations as well as online on Thursday, while a Japan launch will follow on Saturday.
