Here are the top news stories to know in shoes this week.

Wimbledon Continues

Now that the Nike Nightie joke has subsided, on-court competition is heating up. The London tournament wraps on Sunday with semifinals kicking off Thursday and the final matches happening on Saturday (women’s singles) and Sunday (men’s singles).

Olympic Trials

Team USA is taking shape ahead of the Rio Games in just a few weeks. The U.S. Gymnastics Team trials are hosted on Friday and Sunday in San Jose, Calif. Track and field events continue this week, with qualifiers for a variety of events including the 200m race, high jump, pole vault and more.

Paris Haute Couture

Couture week kicked off over the weekend, but the fashion drama continues. Dior shows on Monday, Chanel’s latest show is Tuesday, and Wednesday highlights include Marigela and Valentino.
