A$AP Rocky Pairs Stylish Leather Trench Coat and Classic Black Dress Shoes for Court Appearance in Los Angeles
A$AP Rocky dressed up in formalwear for a court appearance in Los Angeles on Jan. 21. The rapper is on trial for allegedly shooting his former friend A$AP Relli; Rocky has pled not guilty to the charges.
The “Everyday” rapper, who is no stranger to posh menswear, opted for a sleek suit for the beginning of the trial, which began on Jan. 21. The musician and fashion designer is known to think outside the box when it comes to his wardrobe, but he seemed to have understandably stuck to the classics for this occasion. He wore a white collared shirt with a tie featuring an understated pattern; he appeared to be wearing a dark-hued, fastened blazer as well. His eye-catching overcoat was a long, double-breasted garment with prominent lapels, one of which was adorned with what looked like silver hair clips. Reaching past knees but above his ankle-length trousers, the coat had the shine of leather or a leather-adjacent material. The rapper also carried a patterned briefcase from Goyard.
For his footwear, A$AP Rocky wore a timeless pair of black dress shoes. The lace-up, low-top shoes featured an almond toe and a low block heel. This choice aligns with his outfit and his usual elevated footwear aesthetic. Known for his fashion sense, he often steps out in luxury shoes, with Bottega Veneta seeming like go-to brand as of late. He wore square-toe Bottega Veneta shoes to the Footwear News Achievement Awards in December and more recently stepped out in Chelsea boots from the Italian label.
