Alicia Keys attended the first anniversary of her Broadway musical “Hell’s Kitchen,” which was held on Wednesday in New York.
The “No One” songstress stepped out in a pair of slouchy knee-high Paris Texas boots. Currently retailing for $1,295 via the brand’s website, the Jane style included slouchy and glossy plush black leather uppers that transitioned into knife-like pointed toes and maximalist silver buckle detailing.
The silhouette was set atop wedged heels standing at 3.9 inches, offering Keys a big boost. The boot hails from Paris Texas‘ pre-fall collection and was crafted in Italy. The chosen silhouette leans into fall and winter vibes. Additionally, the colorway coordinated perfectly with Keys’ monochromatic look for the night.
The performer’s monochrome look consisted of a stretchy, form-fitted black jumpsuit layered beneath a black leather jacket in a lengthy style. Keys jazzed up her look with a maximalist gold chain necklace with dazzling pendants shaped like a locket and an eye. Gold hoops rounded out the set, mirroring the gold buttons affixed to her leather jacket. The look was simple but stylish, amped up with help from her accessories.
Keys’ shoe styles are colorful and sharp. The “Girl on Fire” singer’s formal wardrobe regularly features pointed-toe pumps in an array of colors, embellishments, and finishes hailing from labels including Balmain, Christian Louboutin, and Tom Ford.
She’s also regularly worn a vast variety of embellished heeled sandals for similar occasions from Alaïa, Prada, and Giuseppe Zanotti. When off-duty, Keys can often be seen in Stella McCartney brogues.
“Hell’s Kitchen” is a Broadway musical with a two-hour-and-35-minute runtime inspired by Keys’ life and music. The show tells the story of a 17-year-old girl named Ali, who is searching for freedom, passion, and her place in the world, set to a score of Keys’ hits and new songs.
