Bella Hadid Reaches New Heights Wearing Gucci Platform Horsebit Loafers in New York City

Bella Hadid was spotted arriving back to her apartment on Thursday in New York City donning an elevated pair of Gucci shoes. For the occasion, the model wore the brand’s platform Horsebit loafers from Gucci‘s spring 2024 collection.
A fan of footwear styles that use bright colors and elevated heights to make a statement, Hadid has recently been photographed in a number of bold shoe silhouettes. On Friday, the model was spotted leaving the Bowery Hotel on the way to the Orebella launch event in New York City while wearing a pair of metallic gold sandals. Hadid’s bright shoe style featured a pointed-toe silhouette, thin ankle strap and small buckle closure.

Hadid is currently promoting her newest fragrance line, Orebella. Founded by the model and in development for over five years, the Orebella brand launched on Thursday with the release of three original scents—Blooming Fire, Salted Muse and Window2Soul. About the Shoes
Spotted on Hadid in a beige and ebony colorway in the brand’s signature original “GG” print, the Gucci Horsebit platform loafer features a lightweight 3.5-inch back platform and 2.5-inch front platform. Additionally, the Italian-made shoe is crafted with a leather trim and is adorned with the brand’s classic silver-toned horsebit hardware detail.
Originally shown during Gucci’s spring 2024 runway show in September as part of creative director Sabato De Sarno‘s first collection for the Italian house, the Horsebit platform loafer is a flatform interpretation of the brand’s traditional Horsebit loafer first released in 1953. The modernized version of the shoe is available in several other rich colorways including a deep burgundy shade, a painted vertical stripe pattern and additional shades of neutral leather hues.

From Kendall Jenner to Katie Holmes, a number of stars have been spotted attending high-profile events, walking the red carpet and getting captured by street-style photographers in the classic footwear style. Recently, Holmes was seen walking through New York City in a pair of Gucci Jordaan loafers. The shoe, worn by the star in a black leather colorway, featured an estimated 0.5-inch block heel and the brand’s horsebit metal detailing.
