Christina Aguilera Embraces Sculptural Heels Trend in Sparkling Saint Laurent Shoes on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Christina Aguilera sat down for an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” which aired yesterday on ABC. The “Genie in a Bottle” songstress talked about her love of Halloween, pranking her fiancé Matthew Rutler and her Las Vegas residency.

For her talk show appearance, the hitmaker donned a pair of black Saint Laurent logo pumps. The designer footwear featured striking open square toes and all-over black rhinestone detailing, offering the shoe silhouette a high-shine finish.

The shoes included thin but secure ankle straps that wound around Aguilera’s ankles and threaded through black buckle closures, securing the style in place. The heels of the performer’s pumps were made of metal and cast in the shape of the Saint Laurent logo reading “YSL.”

The letters that make up the heels were stacked up high atop one another, standing at 4.3 inches in height, offering Aguilera a substantial lift. The logo-style heel is a staple for the French brand, seen in many of its popular footwear offerings over the years.

The star styled a black asymmetrical top featuring long sleeves and a plunging gathered bodice accompanied by structural shoulders and lengthy strips of fabric that fell down Aguilera’s back. On the bottom, the songstress styled nylon trousers in a high-waisted style featuring a shiny form-fitted composition.

On the footwear front, the “Dirrty” singer is no stranger to a bold set of shoes. Aguilera favors boots, sandals and pumps with at least 4-inch heels by Gianvito Rossi, Amina Muaddi and Balenciaga for appearances over the years. She also has a penchant for giving her outfits a sporty boost with thigh-high boots, sandals and chunky sneakers by Yeezy, Nike and Gina Shoes when off-duty. Aguilera notably has a collection of Christian Louboutin pumps in her boudoir-themed closet as well, serving as a muse to the French footwear designer.
