Cynthia Erivo attended a YouTube + Coachella event held at Empire Polo Club on April 19 in Indio, Calif. The musician took the Coachella stage following her attendance at the event.
The “Harriet” star posed for photos clad in a pair of unique biker booties hailing from R13. Currently retailing for $1,695.00 via the designer brand’s website, the Sid Heeled Harness boot features plush black leather uppers that transition into striking square toes and a wide boxy profile. Grungy harness detailing can be seen fixed to the vamp, looped into silver hardware, and secured in place with matching metal studs.
Lofty platform midsoles gave way to block heels injected with rubber, standing at 4.5 inches in height. The boot offers a more modernized take on classic biker and motocross styles, offering Erivo’s ensemble the perfect touch of bohemian grunge. The platform soles worked in tandem with the block heels to lengthen Erivo’s silhouette, creating the illusion of height. Beyond R13’s website, the Sid bootie can also be shopped via Ssense and Lyst.
The “Stand Up” songstress partnered her grungy footwear with an Americana-inspired ensemble. Erivo donned a Bode fringe and suede jacket centered around a red, white and blue colorscheme and star motifs. Layered beneath her American flag-inspired jacket, the performer sported a well-worn graphic tee in a boxy style. On the bottom, Erivo wore high-waisted denim shorts.
Erivo has always had a particularly head-turning sense of style both on and off the red carpet. Since starring role in the 2024 film “Wicked,” the British thespian has upped her footwear game, including platform styles galore paired with seemingly impossible stiletto heels.
Boots seem to be her go-to silhouette, however, Erivo also tends towards classic pumps in an array of finishes while on talk shows or red carpets. Shoes from Christian Louboutin, Schiaparelli, Thom Browne, Marc Jacobs and Jimmy Choo have all been a part of her footwear rotation as of late.
