Dakota Johnson looked effortlessly chic while in New York on Monday between filming “Materialists” in New York City.
Elevating her look with a touch of glam, Johnson sported a pair of deep red slingback pumps hailing from Gucci. Retailing for $ 1,150, the Italian brand’s Signoria style, named after the central piazza of Florence, is crafted of high-shine bright patent leather red uppers accompanied by knife-like pointed-toes and slim straps that wrap around Johnson’s heels.
The strappy detailing on the heels features eye-catching gold Gucci chain embellishments, creating a dazzling effect. Stiletto heels measuring 1.7-inches rounded out the set, offering Johnson a subtle boost in height. The slingback Gucci silhouette comes in a plethora of variations including hot pink, black and a neutral cream tone among other hues.
Infinitely more casual, Johnson wore a see-through cream long-sleeve bodysuit which she layered beneath a bright yellow high-waisted maxi skirt in a sheer style. Underneath her bodysuit, the actress wore a bright yellow bra, mirroring the color of her skirt.
The upcoming film features an all-star cast including the likes of Chris Evans of “Captain America” fame and Pedro Pascal. A release date for the film is not set in stone yet.
On the footwear front, Johnson usually gravitates toward sleek neutral sandals, mules and pumps when on the red carpet. The “Fifty Shades of Grey” star often dons strappy or pointed-toe pairs hailing from Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik and Miu Miu, among others. When off-duty, she can also be seen in casual loafers and chunky sneakers from Saint Laurent, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Adidas and Converse. The thespian is a mainstay in the fashion world, serving as a muse to Gucci designer Alessandro Michele in the Italian brand’s campaigns and front rows.
Beyond “Materialist,” Johnson’s latest project release was “Madame Web” which debuted in theaters in February of this year.
