Dixie D’Amelio Goes for Sheer Negligee Dress and Jimmy Choo T-Strap Platform Shoes for Vanity Fair’s Young Hollywood Party
Dixie D’Amelio was one of the crush of attendees at the “Vanity Fair and Instagram Present: Vanities A Night for Young Hollywood Party.” The event was co-hosted by Monica Barbaro, Keke Palmer, Drew Starkey, Anna Sawai and Aaron Pierre. It was one in a slew of pre-Oscars events.
D’amelio attended the event wearing a black neligee-inspired dress. The dress is sheer with lace trim. It was a floor length dress and includes spaghetti straps.

D’amelio’s shoes are Jimmy Choo‘s Dasia platforms. The style includes thick platform as well as as a thick heel heel. They also feature a t-strap for security. In addition, the silhouette is an open toe. They likely measure about four to six inches high. This is the typical height for platform high heels. The platform allows the shoe to be taller while not increasing the pitch of the shoe.
Jimmy Choo no longer sells the Dasia silhouette as a platform style. Instead, the company now has the Heloise. That shoe is also a platform sandal with an open-toe. The heel is a block heel style and there are cutouts. It measures just under five inches in height. The Nappa leather version sells for $995.
Though it is not a t-strap, Jimmy Choo has its popular Max platform. That also features an open toe. While the company doesn’t seem to sell it currently, other Retailers like MyTheresa still have the Max available.
D’amelio wasn’t the only one at the Vanity Fair party in an open toe. Keke Palmer had on an almost invisible mule from Femme.LA. In addition to a see-through strap across the foot, it exposed the toes with a cutout.
