This isn’t the first time the “CBS Mornings” co-host selected footwear from the SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker collection. On April 30, King attended The New York Pops’ 41st Birthday Gala honoring Clive Davis wearing the t-strap pump silhouette. Last year, for a taping, she opted for the “Reflection” style shoes from the brand, which were featured on “And Just Like That.” These $450 pumps showcased a color-blocked toe box in varying shades of copper, tan, and pink.

About the Brand

SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker began in 2014 and was founded on three main pillars which include delivering quality products, using color and sparkle as a neutral and giving every shoe a personality. The brand includes staples like a Celine-titled Mary Jane, a pump dubbed Fawn, as well as a T-strap sandal given the name of Carrie. There are also a variety of seasonal designs that are part of collections like a Studio 59-themed range. Over time, the brand has expanded into fragrance and accessories.

The Met Gala raises funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and celebrates the Costume Institute’s annual exhibits. This year’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” celebrates the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit. The 2024 event is notably co-chaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
